Pre-Festival Concert
About the pre-festival concert:
Every year before we go to concert band festival, I like to give the students an opportunity to experience what it is like to play the concert set for an audience. This is a great educational experience for our students, and sets them up for success at festival.
Please note that the music is still a work in progress! The students have worked so hard to get to this point and are sounding great, but we definitely are not finished yet! I think you will be amazed to hear the progress they make over the next week.
Speaking of next week, come see us perform at festival! Playing for a big audience always makes us feel good. Hear the work the students accomplish over the last week of the concert cycle. And before then, please encourage your students to practice and prepare for festival.
Festival will be on Thursday, March 14 at Whitney High School. We will be performing at 8:00. Be on the look out for a complete call sheet.
