Concert and Jazz Festival Seasons are here!

We have lots of performances this month.

Pre-festival Concert- Thursday, March 6
This week is our pre-festival concert on Thursday, March 6th. Call time is 6:00pm in the band room, and the show begins at 7:00pm. The dress code is concert black. Click here to view the program for the concert.

Aztec Jazz Festival- Saturday, March 8
The jazz bands will be going to Esperanza High School (my alma mater) for the Aztec Jazz Festival.
Combo call time is 2:25pm, warm-up time is 2:45pm, and performance time is 3:20pm in the Choir Room.
Jazz II (Intermediate) call time is 9:25am, warm-up time is 9:45am, and performance time is 10:20am in the Aztec Library.
Jazz I (Advanced) call time is 3:30pm, warm-up time is 3:55pm, and performance time is 4:30pm in the Aztec Library.

*Tickets for this event are $10 and can be purchased on site.

ABCUSD Band Festival- Thursday, March 13
This year, our concert band will be closing out our district concert band festival. The schedule for the day is:
7:00 call time at Whitney High School
7:30 warm-up
8:00 performance
8:30 clinic with Dr. Betancourt on stage
***Dress code for this event is concert black. Jeans, sweats, polos, and short dresses/skirts are not permitted. If you or your student have questions, please reach out the Mr. Westphal at robert.westphal@abcusd.us.

Still need to get your fall or winter donations in? We are selling See’s candy this Spring. If you are all caught up and want to get started on next season. This is a great way to get started.

Fireworks Coordinator Needed

This year we are looking for a fireworks coordinator. It's a great opportunity to get more involved in our program! We're looking for a reliable parent who is willing to run our 2025 fireworks stand. If you are interested, please let us know, and we would be happy to get you more information about this position.
